In addition to detergent, you need a rinse aid to use your dishwasher effectively. It removes detergent residue, leaves dishes shiny and helps make them dry quickly. Rinse aid consumption is approximately 0.5-0.7 liters per 10-12 cycles.

Spray arms, or dishwasher bead, ensure the inflow and even distribution of water inside the dishwasher. If they are clogged, the dishes will not rinse properly: they will leave streaks and greasy marks.

Carefully inspect the holes (nozzles) of the spray arm, from which the water comes, for contamination.
If you see dirt or food debris, try removing it with a pair of tweezers or a toothpick. But on no account push the debris inside the nozzles!

Strongly alkaline detergents are used to wash fragile dishes. They contain special enzymes which break down proteins, fats and polysaccharides, in short, everything that creates visible dirt on dishes.
Low-alkali detergents are standard and suitable for all types of dishes. However, any such dishwashing detergent must be used in conjunction with the rinse aid. Otherwise, your dishes will leave traces of enzymes which are dangerous to human health, even in small quantities. One bottle of rinse aid should usually last 10-12 washes.
And remember: an increased dose of detergent does not contribute to the best quality of the procedure. It is quite the contrary. Just never add to the PM conventional means for washing dishes manually, the effect will not be any, moreover, a lot of foam is formed, which can damage the technique.

Some crystal products can be washed in the dishwasher. But not all of them: there are many different types of crystal, and most of them should not be heated above 50 °C.
