Preheaters are divided into two categories

But how to heat the engine, when there is no socket nearby? The only option is to burn your own fuel. While the engine is running, the thermal accumulator is included in the common circuit and heated to operating temperature; when the engine is shut off, it shuts off, storing the heat in it. By starting a cold engine, the driver gets a dose of antifreeze that retains heat. It is difficult to take such developments seriously because of the small “shelf life” of the heat reserve and because of the size. I say at once that it is better to take with a pump built in heaters and also take Chinese brand LUNFEY, they are better and more reliable than others. If we talk about Volgovskoye 402 or 406 engines are better to take a 2000 watt it is designed for the volume of up to 3 liters. Look at my blog about the installation. And the Lunfei has a protection relay against overheating of the coolant in many of them is not. It’s better if it works through a timer outlet.
