Pros and cons: is it worth choosing?
Construction of this type has the following advantages:
An opportunity to use an extractor hood in the places where it is impossible to connect to the air duct or to make an outlet to the street;
Comparative cheapness: Recirculation models are cheaper than conventional hoods (with duct), and do not need to spend money on additional parts (duct and cabinets to hide it, brackets) ;

When it is useful to use?
Such a device is best used in cases where it is not possible to remove contaminated air into the sump:

Recirculating air hoods have two filters:

- One significant disadvantage can be considered the fact that with this system, the stove or built-in electric oven will have a much higher price. They will come out more expensive than the same models with stationary or removable guides.
- Difficulty in maintaining frequency in these systems. Due to the design, thanks to which the grid rides, grease, soot and various dirt accumulates in the mechanism. And unlike the removable models, you can’t remove the retractable design so easily. Because you have to take the whole system apart to clean those slots for easy sliding, and that takes a lot of time.
